Doors

Today’s doors come in a variety of materials, and a mind blowing array of different styles and glass patterns.

You have a choice of wood, P.V.C.U; aluminium and composite.

Wooden Doors

Not a great deal I can add over what’s already been said on the window page, obviously you can have a limitless choice of styles,
made in hard or soft woods.

P.V.C.U. Doors

P.V.C.U. doors have dominated the domestic market for the last 25 years now, superseding the aluminium door, however, this is in the main due to a difference in the cost. The P.V.C.U. door is now in itself losing market share to the ever growing
composite door.

Aluminium Doors

Aluminium doors in the domestic market first came out in the seventies, and were pretty crude to say the least, many were badly designed and would flood carpets with leaks, condensation or just fall apart! This is not the case any more, the aluminium door market is holding on well, with far better design and thermal properties. An expensive option these days, but truly a great product.

Composite Doors

The popularity of the composite door has exploded in the last three years, and resembling traditional timber doors of the bygone age they come in various build ups, hence the name composite. Specifically used in front entrances, they come in various colours and styles with more lock and security options than the P.V.C.U.
